7 Storey Xa Loi Pagoda

The tower has 6 sides, 7 storeys, and a height of 28 meters. The tower stands for the fundamental principles of Buddhism. For instance, the seven storeys stand in for the seven different categories of human emotions, such as joy, rage, love, resentment, greed, hatred, and delusion. The six sides stand for sight, sound, taste, smell, touch, and perception.

Linh Ung Pagoda

After a few minutes walk from Xa Loi Tower, you will find Linh Ung Pagoda. The pagoda has a lengthy history that dates back to the reign of the Gia Long King in the early 17th century. The pagoda is a sanctuary with sculptures of Buddha and golden plates with the King’s request to name the pagoda engraved on them.

Moreover, the local people typically kneel, bow, and practice meditation in front of the Buddha statues to express their gratitude.

Tang Chon Cave

“Tang Chon” refers to a location that houses all of the universal truths. The cave’s open skyward-facing ceiling allows for wind circulation, which lowers the temperature. There is a shrine there where people can pray to the gods who provide them good luck and happiness.

Van Thong Cave

The cave means “connecting with the sky”. There is a rough path at the end of Van Thong Cave, which is its most distinctive characteristic to climb up and reach the Heaven Gate. It is an extremely difficult path to do but worthwhile climbing because you will have a stunning and magnificent view of the Non Nuoc Sea and the surrounding mountains on top of the Heaven Gate.

The Highest peak of Marble Mountains

If you choose to climb Thuong Thai Peak which is the highest point of this place, we advise you to take a nice break before you begin because the route is rather steep and has numerous stairs. Thus, it would require 250–300 steps to get there.

Linh Nham Cave

Ngoc Hoang, Nam Cao, and Bac Dau were the three deities revered at Linh Nham Cave. According to a folktale, on December 23 of the lunar calendar, these gods visit those in need and provide a hand using their magical talents.

Huyen Khong Cave

One of the biggest caverns in the Marble Mountains, a former sanctuary protected by Buddha gods, is Huyen Khong Cave. In the middle of the cave is a three-meter-tall statue of the Buddha God Phat Thich Ca. On the left and right, respectively, are tiny temples dedicated to Loi Phi, the Goddess of Health, and Ngoc Phi, the Goddess of riches. The Vietnamese army base used this cave many years ago, throughout the war, as a top-secret location to strategize, train soldiers, and care for injured soldiers.

Tam Thai Pagoda

Tam Thai Pagoda is one of the oldest pagodas in Da Nang city. The Tam Thai Pagoda has a lengthy history and prides itself on being a Buddhist relic that dates back 12 generations of monk leaders. The ritual for the Buddha will be performed inside the pagoda by the monks. Buddhist visitors might find this to be an intriguing experience when visiting.

Vong Giang Dai

That means river watching tower named by King Minh Mang in the 18th century. As you reach here, you will view fantastic views of the region and marble district. At this point, photo opportunities are endless.
